Module 01 - Support



  • Pendrive: this is a small video that shows the revolution that flash drive memories brought to the computer science. At the same time, it shows its debilities. Thus, pendrives need a good care. The purpose of this resources is to make the CALL user aware of the pros and cons of



  •  Video CALL. This is another resource with a historical perspective. It retraces the history of the development of CALL, and then explains its educational role and benefit. The purpose of this activity is to apply the CALL, i.e. the reader is learning what CALL is through CALL.



  •  Constructivist learning. A playful way to explain what constructivism learning is. The purpose of this resource is to strengthen the notion of constructivist theory.



  •   CALL diagrams – This is a diagram that features the CALL implementation. This resource aimed at providing the readers with a matrix from which they can conceive the structure of their own CALL.
  • Constructivism graphic. This is a graphic that briefly shows the different features/components of the constructivist theory. The aim of this resource is to show the constructivism as a place where diverse approaches are connected.




  •  Modern languages multimedia center. This is a real presentation of the multimedia center of University of Bristol (U.K.). This resource aims to show a physical space where multimedia CALL is used for learning languages.
